Painted Stormravens and Flesh Tearer Stormraven

Here are some more painted Stormravens at GW's site, including a Flesh Tearer Stormraven.   The Flesh Tearer version looks somewhat similar to the scheme I was gonna do for my Blood Angels Stormraven, except I would be using the warmer, more "orange" Mechrite Red for my base.

The Pros and Cons of Blood Angels Death Company

Personally, if outfitted and deployed correctly, I am a big fan of the Blood Angels Death Company.   I use them as a flanking and distraction/fire magnet unit.   I'll generally run them up a flank that so there is only one direction they can go... towards the enemy in the middle of the field (you cant control them because of the Rage rule). 

Also, if you're going up horde armies like Orks and Tyranids, the Death Company Dreadnought is a must have with its Blood Talons that slice and dice mass infantry.

Stormraven Building and Magnetization

Great article from Bell of Lost Souls on ways to assemble and magnetize your Stormraven.   I may have to do it this way with the magnetized wings because I use Sabol Designs' Army Transport foam trays.   Its either that or spend $80 on a monster sized GW carrying case... don't wanna do that.

Stormraven Color Scheme Template!

Hey guys, just made a line drawing illustration of the Stormraven to help me figure out my Blood Angels color scheme.   Check out my color scheme and let me know what you think.  Also, feel free to use the blank template for whatever scheme you want.  You should be able to just fill in colors in any photo/paint program like Photoshop or Microsoft Paint.  Enjoy!
